Haji Babbu Mansoori says the political equation has changed; long-standing SP influence faces a fresh challenge

Political activity is gathering momentum in Amroha Assembly Constituency 41, where the Samajwadi Party has maintained a strong electoral presence for around 25 years and sitting MLA Mahboob Ali has remained a prominent political figure. A multiple-term legislator and former minister, including a Cabinet minister, Mahboob Ali has built a strong political profile in the constituency.
The political contest has now received a fresh push after Haji Babbu Mansoori, a BJP leader and national president of the Mansoori community, claimed that Mahboob Ali’s defeat is certain this time.
The statement has added heat to an already politically significant constituency and directly challenges the long-standing electoral dominance associated with the Samajwadi Party and Mahboob Ali.
Babbu Mansoori has argued that the political environment in Amroha has changed and that the coming election could produce a different outcome.
