In a heartwarming gesture reflecting deep-rooted values and social harmony, senior BJP leader and Uttar Pradesh BJP Trade Cell Convenor Vineet Agarwal Sharda kicked off the ‘Seva Pakhwada’—commemorating Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday—by sharing a communal meal with factory workers and staff at his family enterprise located on Gagol Road, Meerut.
Overcome with emotion while serving food to the workers with his own hands, Vineet Sharda remarked that the family factory is far beyond a commercial space; it is the living heritage of three generations of relentless hard work, blessings, and noble values. He recalled that his grandfather, late Lala Om Prakash Agarwal, laid the foundation of this handloom-powerloom enterprise in 1939, which was subsequently expanded by his father, late Seth Dhanpatray Agarwal. Today, the tradition is proudly sustained alongside his brothers—Vipin and Umesh Agarwal Sharda—and the younger generation, including his son Chirag Agarwal Sharda.
“The satisfaction my soul found today by sitting and eating with my labor brothers and sisters is hard to put into words,” Sharda expressed, adding that his elders always taught him that those who work alongside them are family, whose joys and sorrows are shared collectively. The auspicious occasion witnessed the gracious presence of his wife Sangeeta Agarwal Sharda, family members, and scores of factory workers, turning Prime Minister Modi’s birthday celebration into a powerful message of dignity of labor, compassion, and unity.
