Hartalika Teej Celebrated with Devotion and Grandeur in Raja Bazaar and Subhash Market

The auspicious festival of Hartalika Teej, associated with the sacred union of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, was celebrated with devotion, enthusiasm and cultural fervour in the Raja Bazaar and Subhash Market areas. Local traders and residents came together to organise the annual religious and cultural programme, creating an atmosphere filled with faith, music and celebration.

Sharing details of the event, Amit Agrawal, owner of K.K. Foods, said that traders and local residents of Raja Bazaar and Subhash Market come together every year to celebrate Hartalika Teej with great enthusiasm. Over the years, the event has emerged as an important religious and community celebration, bringing people together and strengthening the spirit of harmony and brotherhood.

He said that the Krishna Chhaliya Group is presenting a series of special cultural performances as part of this year’s programme. The celebrations include a traditional Ganesh Vandana, along with attractive tableaux depicting Lord Vishnu, Lord Hanuman and other revered deities. The devotional performances and vibrant presentations added a distinctive cultural dimension to the celebrations.

Amit Agrawal further informed that petha bhog is also offered during the annual celebration. The distribution of the sacred offering remains one of the special features of the programme and draws devotees and local residents together.

The programme is being organised under the banner of the Bateshwar Mahadev Temple, located on Subhash Marg. According to the organisers, the annual celebration is not only an expression of religious faith but also an effort to bring traders and residents of the area together on a common platform.

Hartalika Teej holds a special place in Indian tradition and is associated with devotion, marital harmony, dedication and prayers for family happiness and prosperity. The celebration in Raja Bazaar and Subhash Market reflected the vibrant blend of faith and local culture.
