. Shri Ramswaroop Memorial University (SRMU) celebrated its Grand Convocation Ceremony at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan with high solemnity and academic pride । A total of 7,519 students received their degrees , while 405 meritorious scholars were honored with medals, including 232 Gold, 165 Silver, and 8 prestigious Chancellor’s & Pro-Chancellor’s Medals.
Women Power Ascendant: Female Scholars Sweep All Top Institutional Medals
In a historic and inspiring hallmark, all 8 top institutional honors spanning sessions 2021-22 to 2024-25 were bagged by female graduates. The prestigious Chancellor’s Medal was awarded to Aadya Sharma, Khushi Budhraja, Krati Jain, and Muskan Budhraja. Meanwhile, the Pro-Chancellor’s Medal went to Praneta Yadav, Saumya Singh, Shreya Srivastava, and Rahat Parveen.
Embrace Indigenous Knowledge Traditions: Chief Guest Prof. Patwardhan
Chief Guest Prof. (Dr.) Bhushan Patwardhan, National Research Professor, Ministry of AYUSH, urged graduates to embrace Indian knowledge systems, cast off mental servitude, and lead with moral integrity. Distinguished Guest Shri Akhilesh Mishra, citing the Taittiriya Upanishad, exhorted youth to adhere strictly to truth (Satya), duty (Dharma), and public service.
Vision for Societal Upliftment & Academic Excellence
SRMU Chancellor Er. Pankaj Agarwal congratulated the graduates, emphasizing that education must serve nation-building and humanity. Vice Chancellor Prof. (Dr.) Vijay Tiwari presented the progress report, highlighting the university’s growth to nearly 12,000 students as a testament to public trust and academic quality. Controller of Examinations Prof. (Dr.) Akanksha Nigam compered the event.
