The mouth-watering and juicy mangoes of Uttar Pradesh are officially going global! The 14th Annual Mango Festival, organized by the Lucknow Farmers Market (LFM), turned into a star-studded international gathering at the Vintage Village Resort in Sitapur. Mango lovers, families, local farmers, and enthusiastic tourists from France, Canada, Japan, and London traveled all the way to experience the legendary mango orchards, rustic village life, and sustainable farming traditions of rural UP.

Among the global attendees, Yosuko from Japan expressed her absolute delight, stating that apart from the delicious mangoes, it was the warmth of the locals and the authentic ecosystem of the village that won her heart. Adding a glamorous and soulful musical twist to the event, Medha Bhatt from Canada delivered a mesmerizing live Jazz performance right under the shade of the mango trees, creating a magical fusion of nature and music. Furthermore, French wellness expert Estelle Lyan conducted an exclusive holistic wellbeing session, while guests enjoyed a poetic recitation inspired by Mumbai-based author Shinjini Kumar’s book ‘Ghumakkad Aurat’.
The festival was packed with high-energy activities including mango-eating competitions, treasure hunts, pottery workshops, and traditional horse and bullock cart rides. Orchard owners Ali Jafri and his son Abbas Jafri showcased over 30 rare varieties of fruits and a thriving organic ecosystem. Celebrating the massive success, Jyotsna Kaur Habibullah, CEO of Lucknow Farmers Market, stated that the festival has evolved into a premier seasonal event that successfully bridges the gap between farmers and consumers while skyrocketing eco-tourism in Uttar Pradesh.
