The 5,150th birth anniversary celebrations of Maharaja Agrasen Ji brought a vibrant display of cultural heritage, community participation and social harmony to the streets of Lucknow. Organised by Shri Agrawal Sabha, Lucknow, a grand procession was taken out on Thursday from Sahara Ganj Mall to Parivartan Chowk, drawing enthusiastic participation from members of the Agrawal community.
The procession highlighted the enduring significance of Maharaja Agrasen Ji’s ideals of service, equality, cooperation and brotherhood.

18 Gotras, 18 Horses
One of the major attractions was an impressive tableau of Maharaja Agrasen Ji, accompanied by representations of 18 gotras mounted on 18 horses. The colourful presentation reflected the community’s traditions and collective identity.
Slogans in praise of Maharaja Agrasen Ji echoed along the procession route, creating an atmosphere of celebration and cultural pride. The event offered a platform to showcase the community’s heritage while reinforcing the message of unity across its different gotras.
Community Leaders Join the Celebration
Several prominent members and office-bearers participated in the procession. Those present included Shri Agrawal Sabha president Surendra Nath Agrawal, Pankaj Agrawal, Lokesh Agrawal, Anupam Mittal, Amit Agrawal, Vishnu Agrawal, Bharat Bhushan Agrawal, Ripin Agrawal, Naresh Agrawal, Harshit, Govind Krishna Agrawal, Anjali Kumar Agrawal, Ashish Agrawal, Akshay Agrawal, Manoj Kumar Haveliya, Manish Agrawal, Sunil Agrawal and Sushil Agrawal. Virat Sagar Das, president of BBD, was also present.

Dairy Products Distributed to Visitors
Adding a spirit of service to the celebration, Jai Agrawal Milk Producer Company set up a stall featuring Gyan Agrawal Milk. Milk, curd, peda and barfi were distributed to visitors during the procession.
The initiative added a community-service dimension to the festivities and gave participants an opportunity to enjoy a range of dairy products.

A Celebration of Shared Values
Shri Agrawal Sabha, Lucknow, organised the procession with the aim of spreading Maharaja Agrasen Ji’s message of equality, cooperation, service and brotherhood.
The participation of community members, the presentation of the 18 gotras and the distribution of dairy products made the occasion a celebration of cultural identity and collective responsibility. The procession served as a reminder that traditional celebrations can also strengthen social bonds and encourage a spirit of mutual support.
