Lucknow to Host ‘UP International Film Conclave 2026’ on March 30–31

Film screenings, panel discussions and networking sessions planned

Noted actors including Rajesh Jais and Aditya Srivastava to attend

Lucknow: The city is set to become a hub of cinematic and creative dialogue as the UP International Film Conclave 2026 will be held on March 30 and 31. The two-day event is being organized by the Film Society of India at Sant Gadge Ji Maharaj Auditorium.

Sharing details about the conclave, Ramesh Mishra said that the event will celebrate cinema, creativity and cultural exchange. Filmmakers, directors, actors, producers and cultural personalities from across India and abroad are expected to participate in the conclave.

The event will primarily focus on feature films, short films and documentary cinema. Several engaging sessions including film screenings, panel discussions, networking events and interactive dialogues with film industry experts will be organized during the conclave. These activities aim to create meaningful exchanges and collaborative opportunities for professionals and aspiring artists in the film industry.

This year’s conclave will also witness the participation of several well-known personalities from the film and television industry. Among the notable attendees are actors Rajesh Jais, Aditya Srivastava, Pramod Pathak, actress Meenakshi Dixit and actor Zakir Hussain, along with several other prominent personalities.

Film director and founder-president of the Film Society of India, Durgesh Pathak, said that the conclave is expected to serve as a major inspiration for young and emerging filmmakers. It will provide them with an opportunity to interact with experienced professionals, exchange ideas and gain insights into the evolving world of cinema.

According to the organizers, such initiatives will play a crucial role in boosting film and cultural activities in Uttar Pradesh and positioning the state as a growing hub for cinema, art and creative industries in the country.
