In a major strategic upgrade to its public communication matrix, the Information and Public Relations Department of Uttar Pradesh officially marked its entry into mainstream digital broadcasting today, June 18, 2026. Unveiled at the executive Lok Bhavan in Lucknow, the department launched its official YouTube channel, “Suchna Pravah.” This dedicated digital ecosystem is systematically architected to stream authentic, real-time, and highly factual insights regarding the state government’s welfare schemes, infrastructure milestones, and major cabinet decisions directly to the common citizen.
A Direct Digital Bridge for Sovereign Governance The high-profile digital platform was jointly inaugurated by Director of Information, Shri Vishal Singh, and Additional Director of Information, Shri Arvind Kumar Mishra. The launch event also saw the prominent presence of film producer Abhay Kumar Shrivastava, film production manager Sandeep Pandey, alongside core technical and administrative units of the information bureau.
Commenting on the launch, Director Vishal Singh emphasized that digital media has emerged as the most disruptive and penetrative tool for mass communication in contemporary times. He noted that “Suchna Pravah” will function as a highly transparent and resilient communication bridge, ensuring that complex state policies, financial dynamic aids, and developmental blueprints are simplified into highly engaging, consumer-friendly video content.
Streaming Exclusive Documentaries and Campaign Briefings Elaborating on the programming schedule, Additional Director Arvind Kumar Mishra stated that the channel will serve as the single source of truth for UP’s growth trajectory. The platform will host an array of high-definition content, including professional documentaries, analytical special reports, inspirational human-interest videos, and live coverage of key state events. By executing this real-time digital push, the department aims to completely eliminate the communication lag, empowering both rural and urban demographics with time-bound access to state subsidies and public benefits.
