: Under the aegis of the ‘Vriksharoopan Mahayajna–2026’ institutional framework, a mega ecological development and plantation drive was successfully executed at the under-construction Headquarters and 01st Battalion campus of the Uttar Pradesh Special Security Force (UP SSF) in Piparsand, Sarojoninagar. The high-profile green initiative was formally inaugurated by Chief Guest Shri Alok सिंह (IPS), Director General (DG), UP SSF, who planted a sacred ‘Rudraksha’ sapling, signaling the force’s long-term commitment toward absolute environmental resilience.
Environmental Harmony: A Collective Responsibility for Future Generations Delivering a powerful keynote address, Director General Alok Singh emphasized that environmental protection has transitioned from an individual choice to an urgent collective responsibility in modern times. He urged the personnel to look beyond the initial planting phase and actively commit to the continuous nursing, monitoring, and preservation of the flora. The DG highlighted that trees are not merely tools to balance the immediate ecosystem, but serve as the literal socioeconomic and health foundation for securing a thriving future for generations to come.
Forces Align with National “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” Strategic Initiative The plantation drive witnessed enthusiastic participation from all operational tiers of the specialized force, aligning closely with the Government of India’s highly impactful and emotional campaign, “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam.” In a symbolic gesture of respect toward motherhood and Mother Earth, every officer and jawan planted a tree, taking a solemn institutional pledge to nurture the green cover and proactively contribute toward the holistic development of a ‘Green Uttar Pradesh.’
Mobilizing Green Frameworks into a Sustainable Mass Movement The executive board of the UP SSF reiterated its foundational vision to transform ecological preservation into a broad-based social movement. The administration confirmed that the force will sustain its proactive stance on environmental governance by organizing similar public-welfare programs periodically. The elite event concluded successfully in the presence of senior dignitaries including Shri Hemant Kutiyal (DIG, SSF), Commandant Shri Sarvanand Singh Yadav, Officiating Commandant (01st Bn) Shri Virendra Kumar, and Deputy Commandant Shri Sacchidanand alongside numerous field officers.
