In a significant celebration of women’s leadership and self-reliance, Anuragini Sanstha and Shilpi Mahila Kalyan Sansthan jointly organised the “Nari Shakti Gaurav Utsav” at Keshav Nagar Community Hall, Sitapur Road, Lucknow. The event recognised the remarkable contributions of women associated with Self-Help Groups (SHGs) and highlighted their growing role in social and economic development.
Women Driving Inclusive Growth
Chief Guest Shivita Goyal stated that empowering women through education, skill development and financial independence is the strongest foundation for a progressive society. She praised Self-Help Groups for transforming the rural and urban economy by encouraging entrepreneurship and sustainable livelihoods.
Women at the Centre of Nation Building
Presiding over the programme, Dr. Praveen Singh Jadaun, President of Anuragini Sanstha, said that women are making outstanding contributions in education, healthcare, governance, agriculture, entrepreneurship and public service. He urged women to remain aware of their rights and continue playing a leading role in nation-building.
Economic Independence is True Empowerment
Keynote speaker Kusum Shilpi, President of Shilpi Mahila Kalyan Sansthan, emphasised that genuine empowerment comes from financial independence, confidence and decision-making ability. She encouraged women to actively utilise government welfare schemes, skill development initiatives and self-employment opportunities.
Outstanding Women Felicitated
During the ceremony, Ashna Khatoon, Manju Lata, Pooja Mishra and Archana Tiwari were honoured with the “Nari Shakti Samman” for their inspiring contributions to society. Certificates of appreciation and mementoes were presented in recognition of their achievements.
Collective Commitment Towards an Inclusive Future
Arvind Mishra, President of Avadh Vikas Parishad, appreciated the organisers for creating a platform that inspires social awareness and positive change. Around 200 women associated with Self-Help Groups, along with social workers, academicians and distinguished citizens, attended the event, reaffirming a collective commitment towards women-led development and an inclusive, self-reliant India.
