Keeping alive a glorious tradition, the Markazi MiladunNabi Committee (Regd.) organized the 77th grand Jashn-e-MiladunNabi and All India Naatiya Mushaira at the historic Jhande Wala Park in Aminabad, Lucknow. Held on the auspicious occasion of the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad, the overnight spiritual and literary gathering witnessed an overwhelming participation of scholars, poets, and devotees from across the country.
Spreading the Message of Peace and Universal Brotherhood
The majestic event was presided over by eminent academic and intellectual IPS Manzoor Ahmed, while proceedings were adeptly conducted by the committee’s media in-charge and senior journalist Khan Mohammad Abdullah. The inauguration was graced by Maulana Bilal Abdul Hai Hasani Nadvi, Manager of Nadwa College, who emphasized the urgent need to disseminate the true Islamic message of peace, harmony, and coexistence globally.
General Secretary M.A. Haseeb Advocate delivered the welcome address, detailing the rich history of the committee and urging community leaders to unitedly root out social evils. Renowned speakers, including Dr. Maulana Farman Nadvi, shed light on the exemplary life and teachings of the Prophet, addressing various aspects of human rights and values through the lens of the Quran and Hadith.
Poetic Brilliance at the All India Naatiya Mushaira
The much-anticipated Naatiya Mushaira saw stellar performances by celebrated poets who recited soulful verses in praise of the Prophet. Luminaries like Dr. Shamim Rampuri, Rafeeq Nagori (Ujjain), Kaleem Naimi (Kanpur), Asif Azmi (Mau), Sahil Arfi, Shamsher Alam (Bihar), Qamar Sitapuri, and Aqueel Ghazipuri captivated the audience with deeply moving poetry:
“Jo Huzoor leke aaye woh payam sabse achha, Jo Nabi pe rab ka utra woh kalam sabse achha” — Dr. Shamim Rampuri
The grand celebration concluded past midnight with soulful recitation of Salaam, Kalaam-e-Wiladat, and special prayers for universal peace by Khan Mohammad Amanullah, leaving an indelible mark of devotion and cultural richness on the City of Nawabs.
