Anytime News Network. A massive demolition drive was carried out on February 18, 2026, under the directions of Vice Chairman Madan Singh Gabryal and Secretary Abhay Kumar Pandey. The operation was led by Special Officer/SDM Dr. Ravi Pratap Singh.
🔹 Illegal Plotting Razed Across Three Villages
Approximately 21 bighas of unauthorized plotting in Pratappuri Hari (9 bighas), Bhagwanpurwa (8 bighas), and Katri Khyaura (4 bighas) were demolished.
Illegal entry gates, internal roads, drains, boundary walls, electric poles, pillars, and under-construction structures were flattened using three JCB machines.
🔹 Stern Warning by Authorities
Officials stated that any development without approved layout plans or authority permissions will face strict demolition. Buyers investing in such illegal properties may suffer financial and legal consequences.
🔹 More Demolitions Lined Up
Demolition orders have already been issued for another 8 bighas of illegal plotting in Singhpur and Gangpur Chakbada, with action underway.
🔹 Public Advisory
Dr. Ravi Pratap Singh urged citizens to verify layout approvals from the Kanpur Development Authority before purchasing land and to obtain proper map approvals before construction to avoid future losses.
The action sends a strong message that unauthorized developments will not be tolerated.
