ANYTIME NEWS NETWORK. Under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban), the much-awaited housing lottery for the Gokuldham Scheme in Magarwara, Unnao, was successfully conducted on February 19, 2026. A total of 163 applicants secured flats out of 218 available units, while 25 applicants were placed on the waiting list.
The lottery was organized under the supervision of senior officials, including Vice Chairman Madan Singh Gabryal and Secretary Abhay Kumar Pandey, with Dr. Ravi Pratap Singh overseeing the process.
The flats were offered by private developer M/s Trade Stone Ltd. Registrations were accepted between February 4 and March 5, 2025, through designated banks, receiving 242 applications. After eligibility screening, 221 applicants were shortlisted and objections were invited before finalizing the draw.
The lottery was conducted at the Atal Bihari Vajpayee Auditorium in the presence of district officials, project officers, authority staff, and police personnel to ensure transparency and security. The entire process was displayed live on LED screens and recorded.
Officials confirmed that any future cancellations will be allotted to waiting list candidates as per reservation norms. Successful applicants expressed gratitude and praised the transparent system adopted by the authority.
