At PHD House in Lucknow, the Uttar Pradesh State Chapter of PHD Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PHDCCI) successfully organized the “Udyam Pragati Workshop 2026” on March 18. The event witnessed an impressive turnout of MSME entrepreneurs, with a particularly strong participation from women entrepreneurs. Representatives from NABARD and Laghu Udyog Bharati were also present.
The primary objective of the workshop was to strengthen small industries, cottage enterprises, and empower women entrepreneurs. Participants were provided with valuable insights into government schemes, institutional support systems, financial assistance, and opportunities for business expansion.
Key speakers at the event included Sunil Kumar, Kavita Nigam, Jai Kumar Gupta from SIDBI, and Atul Srivastava.
Speakers emphasized the need to enhance awareness about government initiatives for MSMEs, improve access to financial resources, and simplify entry to digital platforms. They also highlighted the importance of skill development, capacity building, and stronger collaboration among industries.
