In a significant push to democratize traditional medical knowledge, the Central Council for Research in Ayurvedic Sciences (CCRAS) has partnered with Anuvadini AI to translate evidence-based Ayurveda research into 13 languages.

The initiative, supported by the Ministry of AYUSH and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), aims to bridge a long-standing accessibility gap, where most scientific Ayurveda literature has remained confined to English.

Under this agreement, research findings, educational materials, and the quarterly CCRAS Bulletin will be translated into multiple regional languages, making credible information accessible to a much wider audience across India.

Experts believe this move will not only enhance public understanding of Ayurveda but also help counter misinformation by promoting scientifically validated content. AI-driven translation ensures faster and more accurate dissemination, a critical factor in today’s information ecosystem.

CCRAS Director General Rabinarayan Acharya emphasized that the collaboration reflects a commitment to making Ayurveda inclusive and accessible beyond academic circles. Meanwhile, Buddha Chandrasekhar, CEO of Anuvadini AI, highlighted that technology plays a key role in enabling equitable access to knowledge.

With a network spanning 30 institutions across 25 states, CCRAS has been a key driver of Ayurveda research in India. This multilingual initiative is expected to empower students, practitioners, and the general public by delivering reliable knowledge in their native languages.

Looking ahead, the program may expand globally, with plans to translate Ayurveda content into foreign languages, especially in countries where CCRAS has academic collaborations.

This collaboration marks a crucial step in blending ancient wisdom with modern technology—positioning Ayurveda for a stronger global presence in the digital era.
