Social Harmony, Health Awareness Take Center Stage

The Sindhi Youth Club Society, Lucknow, successfully conducted its April monthly general meeting, spreading a strong message of service, harmony, and social unity. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from youth and distinguished members, reinforcing values of cooperation and community bonding.
Chief Guest Ashok Kumar Srivastava, Supervisor in the Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department, highlighted various welfare schemes being implemented under the leadership of Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath. He urged members to actively spread awareness about these initiatives so that eligible beneficiaries can take advantage of them.
The program began with prayers and aarti dedicated to Lord Jhulelal, led by organization president Darpan Lakhmani. The gathering reflected strong cultural roots and a shared commitment to social welfare.
Dr. Kirti Neha, Medical Officer at Chander Nagar Government Hospital, raised awareness about cervical cancer prevention and informed attendees about the free vaccination program available for girls aged 14–15 years. She encouraged members to help spread this crucial information among underprivileged communities.
Dr. Ram Kumar Tiwari, associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, presented plans for organizing clean and eco-friendly community feasts during the upcoming “Bada Mangal” event. He also emphasized the need to install water coolers and drinking water facilities amid rising temperatures.
Several prominent members and youth participants attended the event. Speakers appreciated the organization’s efforts in promoting social service and unity, stating that such initiatives strengthen harmony and collective responsibility in society.
