UP Governor Anandiben Patel Leads Chintan Shivir at Modern Coach Factory

Raebareli: Uttar Pradesh Governor Smt. Anandiben Patel visited the Modern Coach Factory (MCF), Raebareli, on Friday and led a Chintan Shivir and Management Efficiency Enhancement Programme organised for officers and employees of Raj Bhavan. The programme focused on improving administrative efficiency, coordination, and transparent governance practices.
During the Chintan Shivir, the Governor laid emphasis on strategic, action-oriented, and result-driven working methods aimed at strengthening institutional efficiency. Addressing officers and employees, she highlighted the importance of teamwork, innovation, discipline, and a positive work culture as key pillars for organisational success.
Group discussions were also organised on subjects related to transparent administration, innovation-based work culture, and management improvement. The Governor encouraged officials to adopt progressive and collaborative approaches in order to achieve better governance outcomes and public service delivery.
On the occasion, MCF General Manager Raman Krishnan briefed the gathering about the major achievements and progress made by the factory in recent years. He explained the important role played by MCF in manufacturing modern railway coaches and strengthening India’s railway infrastructure.
The Governor later visited different sections of the factory premises and inaugurated newly installed machines at the Wheel Shop. She appreciated the contribution of MCF towards promoting the national initiatives of “Atmanirbhar Bharat” and “Make in India.”
General Manager Raman Krishnan and Principal Chief Mechanical Engineer Vivek Khare also informed the Governor about the advanced coach and wheel manufacturing activities being carried out at the factory.
The entire programme was conducted in a dignified and enthusiastic atmosphere with active participation from Raj Bhavan officials and MCF staff members.
