Exotic Flowers and Golden Radiance Adorn Baba’s Court; Hundreds Gather for Ekadashi Kirtan

LUCKNOW. A divine wave of faith and mystical devotion swept through Singhal Sadan in Arya Nagar, Lucknow, during the magnificent Ekadashi Kirtan organized by Shri Shyam Jyot Mandal. The venue was transformed into a spiritual haven, featuring a grand durbar of Baba Khatu Shyam beautifully embellished with exotic imported flowers and multi-colored psychotropic lights. Bedecked in heavy gold ornaments and studded pearls, Baba’s enchanting idol exuded a golden glow that captivated the hearts of hundreds of visiting devotees.
The event, themed “Jamghat Mhare Shyam Ka”, commenced with traditional rituals and Lord Ganesha prayers led by priest Shri Ritesh. Following the initial prayers, the sacred and eternal flame (Akhand Jyoti) was ceremonially lit by the family of Nilesh Agarwal (Tata). The musical evening formally kicked off with a soulful Ganesha Vandana performed by the committee members alongside the popular Raj Shree Musical Group.
The spiritual momentum escalated to a crescendo when renowned bhajan singer Shravan Agarwal took the stage. His melodious rendition of timeless tracks like “Sanwre Salone Sataya Na Karo, Roz Roz Sapnon Mein Aaya Na Karo…” and “Na Pushpon Ke Haar, Na Sone Ke Darbar, Shyam To Prem Ke Bhookhe Hain…” moved the audience to tears of joy, prompting many to dance in ecstatic devotion. Following him, talented vocalists Anupam Mittal, Saksham Khandelwal, and Rinku kept the crowd spellbound with their continuous strings of emotional praises dedicated to Baba Shyam.
The high-profile spiritual gathering saw the presence of prominent local dignitaries and devotees, including Rajendra Agarwal, Suresh Agarwal (Hyundai), Naresh Chandra Agarwal, Swati Goyal, Sonika Agarwal, Harsh Agarwal, and Yash Agarwal. The grand evening concluded with the distribution of holy ‘Chhappan Bhog’ prasad after the midnight Maha Aarti.
