. Marking a significant technological advancement in reproductive medicine, a high-caliber live workshop on “Semen Analysis” was successfully conducted in the capital city. The educational initiative was organized by the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology and In-Vitro Fertilization (IVF) at the Vivekananda Polyclinic and Institute of Medical Sciences, Lucknow. The event was held in strategic collaboration with the UP Indian Society for Assisted Reproduction (UP-ISAR), Advy Biosciences, and Axiocare.
The workshop, held on Saturday, May 30, 2026, commenced with the traditional lighting of the lamp by the revered Swami Muktinathananda Ji Maharaj, Secretary of the institute. The inaugural session was graced by top fertility specialists, including UP-ISAR President Dr. Rajul Tyagi and Secretary Dr. Seema Pandey. In his profound opening address, Swami Muktinathananda emphasized aligning cutting-edge scientific innovation with compassionate healthcare and strict medical ethics to selflessly serve humanity.
The keynote speaker for the scientific sessions, renowned expert Dr. Keshav Malhotra, delivered highly technical lectures on groundbreaking reproductive themes. He introduced modern methodologies regarding the isolation of vital motile spermatozoa and its impact on clinical outcomes. Furthermore, he highlighted how leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) for accurate Sperm DNA Fragmentation analysis can drastically upgrade pregnancy and success rates in modern IVF and assisted reproductive procedures.
The seminar also hosted a panel discussion on managing “Abnormal Semen Analysis Reports,” where veteran embryologists and clinicians shared their case studies. Additionally, hands-on practical demonstration sessions were organized to familiarize the participants with next-generation lab technologies.
