: JAKSON Solar, a leading provider of solar energy solutions and part of the JAKSON Group, has launched its flagship ‘Solar on Wheels’ Awareness Drive in Lucknow to promote rooftop solar adoption and accelerate the transition towards clean and sustainable energy across Uttar Pradesh.
The awareness drive was formally flagged off from the UPNEDA office in Lucknow in the presence of senior representatives from UPNEDA and JAKSON Solar. The launch event was attended by Mr. Sudhanshu Pokhriyal, CEO, JAKSON Distributed Energy; Mr. Pankaj Singh, Secretary, UPNEDA; Mr. Mahendra Singh Yadav, National Retail Head, JAKSON Solar; and Mr. Pritesh Kumar Srivastava, State Head – Uttar Pradesh, JAKSON Solar.
As part of the initiative, a specially designed awareness vehicle equipped with interactive solar education displays, product demonstrations, and customer information material will travel across key locations in Lucknow and surrounding regions over the next month. The campaign aims to educate homeowners, businesses, and local communities about the benefits of rooftop solar systems, available government subsidy schemes, installation procedures, and long-term financial savings.
Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Sudhanshu Pokhriyal, CEO, JAKSON Distributed Energy, said:
“Rooftop solar has immense potential to contribute to India’s clean energy transition. However, increasing awareness and building consumer confidence remain crucial for accelerating adoption. Through the ‘Solar on Wheels’ initiative, we are bringing solar education directly to people, enabling them to make informed decisions about clean energy solutions. Uttar Pradesh is an important market for us, and this initiative reflects our commitment to making sustainable energy more accessible and affordable.”
The launch event witnessed enthusiastic participation from visitors and stakeholders, with many showing keen interest in rooftop solar systems, subsidy-related information, and the long-term economic and environmental benefits of solar energy.
The month-long awareness campaign is expected to strengthen consumer understanding of rooftop solar solutions, encourage wider adoption of renewable energy technologies, and contribute to India’s broader sustainability and clean energy goals.
