Get ready for a massive transport upgrade because Uttar Pradesh is currently rewriting the rules of world-class infrastructure! In a spectacular move to boost eco-friendly transit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has officially flagged off 45 high-tech UPSRTC electric buses connecting Lucknow to Noida, Greater Noida, and the YEIDA area near the mega Jewar Airport. Alongside this blockbuster launch, the state-of-the-art Noida Electric Bus Depot was also inaugurated, bringing absolute festive joy to the residents of Gautam Buddha Nagar.
The Chief Minister shared some incredible and spicy insights about UP’s rapid industrialization. Dropping a major upgrade story, CM Yogi stated, “Gone are the days when Uttar Pradesh had to import electric buses from outside. Today, we have successfully established 2 massive Electric Bus Manufacturing Plants right within our state!” To add more futuristic flavor, 3 cutting-edge hydrogen-powered buses have also commenced operations in the YEIDA region starting today.
To ensure seamless, last-mile connectivity with the upcoming Noida International Airport, 110 electric buses will hit the roads by June 15. The government is already chasing a grand target of deploying 500 electric buses across Gautam Buddha Nagar very soon.
But wait, the transformation doesn’t stop at public transport! CM Yogi proudly highlighted the meteoric rise of the ‘UP Defence Industrial Corridor’, which has already secured a staggering ₹35,000 crore in investment proposals under the guidance of PM Narendra Modi. In a statement that is bound to thrill every citizen, he reminded the audience that the deadly BrahMos missile—the pride of India’s defense—is now being manufactured right in Lucknow. With a major Drone Manufacturing Cluster also booming in the state, the ‘New Uttar Pradesh’ is officially ruling both the roads and the skies!
