Akhilesh Demands CBI Probe & ₹50 Lakh Compensation; Promises Full Institutional Justice Post-2027 Elections

In a deeply solemn and high-profile political meeting, Samajwadi Party National President and former UP Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav met with the grieving family members of the late 17-year-old national-level Kabaddi player, Kumari Anushka Pal, at the party state headquarters in Lucknow. Accompanied by Sardhana MLA Atul Pradhan, the family of the multi-medal-winning athlete narrated the harrowing details of her recent abduction and subsequent murder. Expressing deep grief, Akhilesh Yadav consoled Anushka’s father, Shri Nempal Pal, a resident of Chirodi village (Sardhana, Meerut), and extended immediate financial solidarity to the family.
Standing Firm Against Injustice: SP Proposes a 2027 Safety Net Reaffirming his party’s core ideology, Yadav stated that the Samajwadi Party has always remained at the frontline of fighting institutional injustice and securing real-time relief for victims. Dropping a major political assurance, the SP chief promised the family that as soon as the Samajwadi Party forms the government in Uttar Pradesh in 2027, every single demand of the affected family will be accepted and structurally executed.
Demands Raised for a Government Job, ₹50 Lakh Compensation, and a CBI Probe Taking a strict stance against the law-and-order situation, the Samajwadi Party has formally demanded that the state government instantly provide a secure government job to one member of the bereaved family, alongside a financial compensation of ₹50 lakh. Furthermore, given the critical nature of the crime, Yadav demanded a comprehensive investigation by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to unmask the entire conspiracy.
The delegation included high-level representation, featuring SP State President Shyam Lal Pal, Meerut District President Karmaveer Singh Gumi, Meerut City Chief Haji Adil Choudhary, alongside numerous village heads and Zila Panchayat members who stood in unified solidarity with the victim’s family.
