Blatant Errors Detected in Nursing Entrance Answer Key; Students Allege Harassment and Hurried Counseling Process

As the nationwide outrage over medical examination scams continues to boil, severe discrepancies have now cropped up in the state’s nursing stream, putting the academic future of thousands in absolute jeopardy. Seeking political backing and immediate redressal, a distressed delegation of BSc Nursing students marched to the Samajwadi Party state headquarters in Lucknow today to meet National President and former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav. The students handed over a comprehensive memorandum highlighting systemic flaws, which Yadav reviewed with deep empathy, promising to escalate their grievances.
Flawed Evaluation, Incorrect Answer Keys, and Administrative High-Handedness The students, who recently appeared for the Common Nursing Entrance Test (CNET), stated that their career graphs were already heavily compromised due to the concurrent ongoing irregularities in the NEET examination. Adding to their misery, the official answer key and the subsequent evaluation parameters released for the nursing test are riddled with structural errors and incorrect model answers. They pointed out that these evaluation blunders have drastically and unfairly downgraded the final scores of meritorious candidates.
Furthermore, the candidates raised a red flag over the institutional high-handedness of the authorities. “Whenever we gather peacefully to raise our voice against these errors, we are subjected to absolute misbehavior and verbal harassment by the staff,” the students alleged. They also questioned why the department is hurrying through the online counseling process without rectifying the technical errors in the scoring sheets.
SP Vows Solidarity with the Aggrieved Youth Assuring the young professionals of his party’s full support against administrative injustice, Akhilesh Yadav criticized the lack of transparency in state-conducted entrance tests. The delegation of affected nursing students included prominent youth faces such as Adarsh Patel, Ajay Singh, Heena Gupta, Akanksha Singh, Zoya Fatima, Shubham Rai, Nisha Yadav, Ram Sagar, Abhishek Maurya, Shivam Raj, Rajnish Kumar, Rehan, Aman, Priyanka Singh, Khushi Verma, and Shivansh Yadav, among others.
