In a massive boost to the MSME sector, the Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Uttar Pradesh (ASSOCHAMUP) has officially partnered with the Wadhwani Foundation. As documented in the press release shown in 1000896465.jpg, the two organizations signed a Letter of Intent (LoI) to formalize a strategic collaboration aimed at strengthening the growth, competitiveness, and scalability of Small and Medium Businesses (SMBs) and MSMEs across Uttar Pradesh. A formal Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) is slated for the coming weeks.

The alliance directly aligns with the Government of Uttar Pradesh’s vision to transform the state into a US$1 trillion economy. Under this partnership, high-potential SMBs will receive structured business growth programs, expert mentorship, leadership development, and ecosystem engagement activities to drive innovation and create sustainable employment.
Er. D. P. Singh, President of ASSOCHAMUP, emphasized their commitment to fostering a vibrant business ecosystem by creating greater opportunities, market linkages, and capacity-building initiatives. Highlighting the economic engine of the state, Mr. Vishal Chaddha, Executive Vice President of Wadhwani Accelerate, reiterated that empowering ambitious enterprises with acceleration and strategic support is vital to hitting the state’s milestone. Furthermore, Mr. Manish Agarwal, Senior Vice President of ASSOCHAMUP, aligned these efforts with the national target of a $5 trillion economy, crediting Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s push for religious tourism while calling for a special manufacturing policy.
The inclusive nature of this initiative was strongly highlighted by Dr. Kiran Singh, Chairperson of the Women Entrepreneur Wing, as captured in 1000896466.jpg. She noted that women-led enterprises serve as key drivers of grassroots social development, helping decentralize industrial growth and bridging regional economic gaps. The landmark event concluded with senior representation from both organizations, marking a definitive milestone for UP’s industrial future
