These features help deliver standardized mental healthcare even in remote and underserved regions while reducing dependence on specialist doctors.
Successful Across Seven States
The initiative is currently being implemented through leading medical institutions across Assam, Gujarat, Haryana, Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, and Punjab, demonstrating a scalable and collaborative healthcare model.
A Major Boost for Digital India
ICMR Director General Dr. Rajiv Bahl said the recognition reflects India’s commitment to data-driven, affordable, and technology-enabled healthcare solutions. He emphasized that ICMR will continue developing scalable innovations to improve public health outcomes nationwide.
The achievement reinforces India’s growing leadership in AI-powered healthcare and strengthens the vision of accessible, high-quality digital health services for every citizen.
