The interactive session brought together senior tax officials and leading traders to discuss taxation issues, improve compliance awareness, and enhance administrative transparency.

Constructive Discussion on Tax Issues

Officials from State Tax Division-11 listened carefully to traders’ concerns related to GST compliance, departmental procedures, documentation, and other taxation matters. Practical solutions were discussed, with the department assuring participants of timely grievance redressal and greater administrative support.

Senior Officials Lead the Interaction

The programme was attended by Vishal Chaudhary, Shubha Singh (Assistant Commissioner), Kunwar Ravish (Deputy Commissioner), and Sanjay Singh (State Tax Officer, Division-05). The officers encouraged open communication and emphasized that the government’s objective is to simplify tax administration while making compliance easier for honest taxpayers.

Business Community Appreciates the Initiative

Representing the Gurudwara Road Trade Association, President Asit Agarwal (Ashish), Treasurer Raj Kumar Agarwal, Saurabh Jain, Nilesh Agarwal (Tata), along with several prominent traders and office bearers from the Naka business area, actively participated in the discussion. Traders appreciated the department’s proactive approach and described the programme as an important step toward building stronger institutional trust.

Call for Regular Interactive Sessions

Participants urged the department to organize such interactive programmes on a regular basis to keep businesses informed about evolving tax regulations and compliance requirements. Officials responded positively, reaffirming their commitment to continuous engagement and taxpayer-friendly governance.

The dialogue reflected a shared commitment to creating a transparent, business-friendly tax ecosystem while reinforcing the government’s broader objective of promoting Ease of Doing Business across Uttar Pradesh.
