In a monumental step towards driving inclusive economic growth, a high-impact Entrepreneurship Awareness and Special Vendor Development Program was successfully organized on August 25, 2026, at the Gee Kay Grand in Sitapur. Jointly hosted by the National SC-ST Hub (NSSH) and the DICCI Uttar Pradesh Chapter, the mega-event brought together nearly 200 aspiring and established SC-ST entrepreneurs to bridge the gap between grassroots business owners and institutional opportunities.
Empowering Through Knowledge and Government Schemes
The event featured insightful sessions led by NSSH UP In-charge Shri Ravi Oran and his dedicated team, detailing various central and state welfare schemes designed to scale up indigenous businesses. Operating under the visionary guidance of DICCI UP Chapter President Shri Manish Verma, and active local coordination by DICCI member Shri Nirmaljit and his district team, the program witnessed massive participation from surrounding regions, including a strong contingent from Hardoi led by Shri Sudhakar Verma.
Eminent state-level DICCI leaders—including Shri Dev Mani Saroj, Shri Suman Vikram, Shri Bharat Prasad, Shri Pravesh Kumar, Shri Sushil, and prominent regional member Shri Shiv Bhagwan—graced the occasion, motivating participants to transform government schemes into scalable enterprises. Representatives from various government departments and CPSEs interacted directly with attendees, outlining procurement procedures, vendor registration, and institutional support mechanisms.

Discussions highlighted the immense untapped potential in Sitapur across agriculture, food processing, manufacturing, tourism, hospitality, and the service sector. Concluding with a powerful message that entrepreneurship directly fuels employment and community strength, this landmark summit served as a robust catalyst for the economic independence of marginalized entrepreneurs.
