In a high-voltage press conference held at Shekhar Hospital, Hind Charitable Trust made sensational allegations of a multi-crore financial scam and a calculated conspiracy to illegally take over its institution.
Chairman Dr. Amod Sachan and Chairperson Dr. Richa Mishra accused Varun Srivastava and Malay Mohan of orchestrating a planned operation to infiltrate the institution and gain access to sensitive financial data.
According to the Trust, multiple companies were floated to route transactions, leading to suspected financial irregularities worth ₹20–22 crore. Additionally, around ₹10 crore allegedly taken in advance for construction work at Hind Medical College remains unaccounted for, with projects still incomplete.
The Trust further alleged that forged trust deeds were created, and attempts were made to file false FIRs to build legal pressure. When initial complaints failed, the accused reportedly approached the court under Section 156(3) using misleading information to secure FIR registration.
Dr. Richa Mishra also revealed that she was pressured during fabricated meetings to sign documents, which she later refused after identifying discrepancies.
Emphasizing transparency, the Trust stated that all financial operations since 2004 have been regularly audited and conducted lawfully. The institution currently runs two fully developed campuses with no long-term liabilities.
An FIR has been registered at Barabanki Kotwali naming multiple accused, and preliminary police findings indicate a deliberate conspiracy. A civil case is also under trial in the Lucknow District Court.
The Trust categorically denied any association with Varun Srivastava or his entities, stating that all financial liabilities linked to those companies remain their sole responsibility.
