In a spectacular display of patriotism on Independence Day, a two-day photo exhibition and public awareness program on the theme “Har Ghar Tiranga and Independence Day” was successfully organized at B.N. Inter College in Akbarpur. The event was hosted by the Central Bureau of Communication, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Government of India (Azamgarh unit).
Key Highlights of the Event:
Awareness Chariot & Exhibition: The festivities kicked off with College Principal Rakesh Kumar Mishra flagging off the ‘Awareness Chariot’, which distributed pamphlets to spread the message of national pride. MLC Hari Om Pandey inaugurated the photo exhibition, emphasizing that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign, initiated by PM Narendra Modi in 2022, has now evolved into a proud national tradition.
Flag Hoisting & Inspiring Words: On the second day, the Principal hoisted the national flag. Zila Panchayat President Shyam Sundar Verma praised the exhibition, stating that the tricolor is the ultimate symbol of our nation’s pride. E.O. Rajmani Verma further highlighted the crucial role of youth in nation-building.
Tiranga Rally & Competitions: The college campus echoed with patriotic slogans as students participated in a massive Tiranga Rally. To encourage young minds, quiz and speech competitions were held, and 40 brilliant students were awarded for their outstanding performances.
Cultural Performances & Social Initiatives: Cultural teams from Lucknow mesmerized the audience with patriotic songs and dances. A tree-plantation drive was also conducted, alongside special exhibition stalls set up by ‘My Yuva Bharat’ and the Child Development Department.
The event concluded with Nodal Officer Tariq Aziz warmly felicitating the guests, making this two-day celebration a resounding success in awakening the spirit of true nationalism.
