In protest, bank employees in Lucknow wore black badges while continuing their duties and staged demonstrations outside branches and offices during lunch hours. The symbolic protest reflects growing dissatisfaction and a warning of stronger actions ahead. Media in-charge Anil Tiwari stated that on May 16, employees nationwide will wear black attire and hold protest meetings. He warned that failure by the government to address the demands could lead to strikes and intensified agitation programs in the coming days.
