Record room, conference room and CCTV systems reviewed; UPSIDCO instructed to address pending beautification and maintenance gaps

: In a significant move to ensure administrative efficiency and adherence to government directives, Chief Development Officer (CDO) Smt. Gamini Singla (I.A.S.) carried out a detailed surprise inspection of the Sub-Divisional Transport Office (ARTO) in Budaun today.
The inspection was conducted following the explicit instructions of the state government and the District Magistrate of Budaun. CDO Gamini Singla meticulously reviewed the ongoing renovation and beautification works being executed by the working agency within the office premises.
During the inspection of the Record Room, Conference Room, and various operational desks, the CDO identified significant discrepancies. She observed that the work completed by the executing agency did not match the specified inventory, and there were notable lapses in the quality of renovation.
Taking a serious view of the situation, Smt. Singla directed the Executive Engineer of UPSIDC to rectify all beautification and renovation shortcomings immediately. She also emphasized the critical importance of maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the office environment for both staff and public convenience.
The inspection was attended by Assistant Regional Transport Officer (Administration/Enforcement) Shri Hariom, the Executive Engineer from the Public Works Department (PWD), engineers from UPSIDC, along with other transport department staff and enforcement personnel. The CDO’s proactive stance has set a strong tone for accountability within the district’s administrative offices.
