CIPET APM-2025: A Landmark Event with Distinguished Lectures, Alumni Meet, and Thought-Provoking Panel Discussions.

Lucknow, March 9, 2025: The 2nd edition of the CIPET APM-2025, held at the Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) Lucknow, brought together renowned speakers, professors, and industry experts from across the country.          The event was an intellectual gathering that showcased valuable lectures and insights from esteemed professionals in the fields of petrochemicals and engineering.
The event kicked off with engaging lectures by leading experts, which provided attendees with deep insights into the latest trends, innovations, and challenges within the industry. The knowledge shared by the distinguished speakers set the stage for further discussions and interactions among participants from various sectors.
Following the lectures, an Alumni Meet was organized at CIPET Lucknow in the presence of Shri Deepak Mishra, Joint Secretary, Department of Chemicals & Petrochemicals, Government of India, and Prof. (Dr.) Shishir Sinha, Director General of CIPET. This meet served as a platform for CIPET alumni from various industries and academic institutions to reconnect and share their experiences. Attendees exchanged valuable perspectives on the integration of academic learnings into the industrial world.
During the meet, several alumni expressed their desire for more frequent alumni gatherings and collaborative platforms. Prof. (Dr.) Shishir Sinha assured the alumni that CIPET is taking proactive steps to unite all CIPET graduates into a cohesive network, further strengthening the institute’s legacy and fostering greater industry-academic collaborations in the future.
Additionally, a thought-provoking panel discussion took place, bringing together some of the most distinguished personalities in the field. The panel was graced by Padma Bhushan Dr. Anil Prakash Joshi, Founder of Himalayan Environmental Studies and Conservation Organization, Padma Shri Prof. Ashutosh Sharma from IIT Kanpur, Padma Shri Prof. G.D. Yadav, Emeritus Professor of Eminence, ICT Mumbai, Prof. Manoj Chaudhary, Vice Chancellor of GATI Shakti Vishwavidyalaya (GSV), Prof. Vinay Pathak, Vice Chancellor of ChhatrapatiShahuJiMaharaj University, Kanpur, and Prof. K.K. Pant, Director of IIT Roorkee.                                          These eminent personalities shared their insights on a wide range of topics, including the future of education, innovation in the field of engineering, and the critical role of academic institutions in supporting sustainable growth in industries.
The panel discussion was an enriching experience for all attendees, offering diverse perspectives and sparking important conversations about the future direction of the petrochemical and engineering sectors.
