Manager Dr. R.K. Singh’s Mega Drive: Decades-Old PF Cleared, Massive Staff Recruitment Completed

. Since taking charge as the Manager of the prestigious Lucknow Christian Degree College (LCDC) in Golaganj in August 2025, Dr. R.K. Singh has driven a massive wave of academic and structural transformation. Aimed at enhancing academic quality and global standards, Dr. Singh announced that from the current academic session, all classrooms are being upgraded into ‘Smart Board Classrooms’. Additionally, the college is setting up highly advanced, technical ‘Smart Laboratories’, establishing a brand new benchmark in the region’s higher education ecosystem.
Massive Recruitment Drive and Settlement of 20-Year-Old Dues
To strengthen the institutional core, the college management has successfully executed a comprehensive recruitment and welfare drive:
Degree College Faculty: Against 40 vacancies, 30 posts have been successfully filled, with the remaining being processed through the Higher Education Commission.
Class 3 & Technical Staff: 12 posts have been filled to accelerate technical and administrative workflows.
Class 4 Staff (Peons & Attendants): 15 new appointments have been made for campus management.
B.Ed. College: Out of 12 vacant posts, recruitments have been wrapped up, leaving only 3 posts to be filled via the commission.
In a landmark welfare move, Dr. R.K. Singh’s relentless efforts have led to the resolution and release of 20 years of pending PF, pension, and salary dues, bringing immense relief to the staff. Furthermore, under compassionate grounds, three dependents of deceased employees have been given jobs.
New Departments and a ₹18.20 Crore Cricket Stadium
Expanding its academic horizon, the college has introduced several postgraduate and professional streams, including M.Sc. (Bio), M.Sc. (Zoology), M.Sc. (Botany), M.Com, and Integrated B.Ed courses.
In a monumental development for sports enthusiasts, a state-of-the-art Mini Stadium is being constructed within the college campus by the State Government at an estimated cost of ₹18 crore 20 lakhs. The stadium will be equipped to host professional short-format cricket matches like T-20s.
E-Learning, BBA, and Law Courses in the Pipeline
The entire campus is undergoing extensive repairs, repainting, and a complete renovation of the auditorium and restrooms. All 14 specialized labs (12+2) are being upgraded with advanced tech portfolios and state-of-the-art equipment to give students a hands-on technical edge. Looking ahead, Dr. R.K. Singh shared that E-Learning and a digital Central Library are in the pipeline. Backed by a nearly complete and highly qualified academic staff, the college is now actively preparing to launch premium professional courses like BBA and Law (LL.B.) to deliver unmatched academic results.
