: In a major citizen-centric initiative aimed at enhancing financial inclusion and improving access to essential government services, the Lucknow General Post Office (GPO) has announced a three-day Special Service Camp from July 25 to July 27, 2026, at Green Park Club House, Omega Campus, Uttarathiya, Lucknow.
Comprehensive Aadhaar Services
The camp will provide a complete range of Aadhaar-related services, including new enrolment, demographic updates, address correction, mobile and e-mail updates, biometric updates, and Bal Aadhaar enrolment for eligible children. Citizens will also receive assistance for other UIDAI-related services.
Financial Inclusion at the Doorstep
Visitors can open or access information about Post Office Savings Accounts (SB), Recurring Deposits (RD), Time Deposits (TD), Monthly Income Scheme (MIS), Public Provident Fund (PPF), Senior Citizens Savings Scheme (SCSS) and Sukanya Samriddhi Account (SSA), making the camp a one-stop destination for financial services.
Postal and Digital Services Together
The initiative will also offer India Post Payments Bank (IPPB) services, Postal Life Insurance (PLI), BNPL registration, booking facilities, philately services, My Stamp, and several other postal products under a single platform.
Citizens Requested to Carry Essential Documents
Officials have advised residents to carry original Aadhaar-related documents, registered mobile numbers, and KYC documents required for banking and postal services to ensure quick and hassle-free processing.
The special camp reflects India Post’s commitment to expanding last-mile public service delivery, promoting digital governance, and strengthening financial inclusion through accessible and citizen-friendly initiatives.
