Bharat Katyayan Says Young India Deserves Representation, Not Exploitation

Positioning itself as a political platform dedicated exclusively to the aspirations of India’s youth, NavYuvak Dal announced its vision for education, employment, and inclusive development during a press conference at the UP Press Club in Lucknow. Party President Bharat Katyayan asserted that mainstream political parties have repeatedly treated young people merely as vote banks while neglecting their genuine concerns.

Youth First, Politics Later

Katyayan said the party would focus on creating opportunities for young citizens instead of encouraging divisions based on caste, religion, or community. According to him, India’s youth require a united democratic platform where they can collectively raise issues related to education, jobs, entrepreneurship, and social progress.

Demand for Transparent Employment Data

One of the key demands raised by the party was greater transparency regarding employment statistics. Katyayan emphasized that the country should maintain authentic data reflecting the total youth population, the number of employed individuals, and those engaged in business or self-employment. Reliable data, he argued, is essential for evaluating employment policies objectively.

A Party Led by Young Minds

He stressed that NavYuvak Dal would remain a youth-driven organization operating independently, free from external political influence. The objective, he said, is to transform young citizens from passive voters into active participants in governance and policymaking.

Major Organizational Expansion

The party also announced several organizational appointments. Sarvesh Kumar Singh was named State In-Charge, Anugrah Narayan Singh as State General Secretary and Strategic Affairs In-Charge, Amit Srivastava as State Media In-Charge, Santosh Singh Chauhan as State Vice President, Natit Tiwari Singh as State General Secretary, and Vinay Khandelwal as State Treasurer.

Senior party leaders, including General Secretary Vindhyavasini Shri Sanand and State Minister Nitesh Deepak Kher, were also present. The leadership indicated that the organization would soon launch statewide outreach campaigns focused on youth participation, employment, education reforms, and leadership development.
