Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to India’s armed forces on the first anniversary of ‘Operation Sindoor,’ praising their unmatched courage, precision, and determination in responding to terror threats.

The Prime Minister stated that the operation delivered a decisive response to those responsible for attacking innocent civilians in Pahalgam and reaffirmed India’s uncompromising stance against terrorism. According to him, Operation Sindoor has emerged as a symbol of India’s strong national security doctrine and military preparedness.

Modi emphasized that the mission showcased the professionalism, coordination, and combat readiness of the Indian armed forces. He also highlighted how India’s push toward self-reliance in the defense sector has strengthened national security capabilities and improved operational efficiency.

Calling the operation a defining moment in India’s anti-terror framework, the Prime Minister reiterated that the country remains firmly committed to eliminating not only terrorists but also the entire ecosystem supporting terrorism.

In a symbolic gesture of solidarity and respect for the armed forces, Modi appealed to citizens to change their display pictures on Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp using the image shared by him. He said every Indian feels proud of the bravery and sacrifice of the nation’s soldiers.

Several commemorative events were organized across the country to mark one year of Operation Sindoor. Security analysts believe the mission significantly boosted India’s global image as a nation capable of delivering swift and strategic responses against terrorism.
