Young Athletes Shine Bright—Sanskar Wins 400m Race in Boys’ Category

The 55th Regional Sports Meet 2026 of Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan is being आयोजित with great enthusiasm at MCF Lalganj. The second phase of the event, held from April 28 to April 30, commenced with table tennis and athletics competitions (boys’ category) at the Modern Coach Factory athletic ground, bringing together talented students from Kendriya Vidyalayas across the Lucknow region.
Principal Dr. B. K. Verma highlighted that the event serves as a vital platform for nurturing sportsmanship and holistic development among students. He also noted that the first phase (girls’ category), held from April 22 to April 24, concluded successfully, with the host school securing the top position, followed by RRC Fatehgarh and IIT Kanpur.
The second phase has intensified the excitement, especially with standout performances in athletics. In the Under-19 boys’ 400-meter race, Sanskar from KV MCF Lalganj clinched the first position. Anubhav Kumar from RRC Fatehgarh secured second place, while Sumit Kumar from JRC Bareilly finished third.
The event reflects high levels of enthusiasm, discipline, and competitive spirit among participants. The school administration extended congratulations to all winners and participants, wishing them success in future endeavors.
The three-day sports event will continue until April 30, featuring more thrilling competitions and showcasing the rising sporting talent of young students.
