A Crucial Role for Satish Chandra Mishra: In a major organizational move, the BSP has entrusted veteran leader Shri Satish Chandra Mishra with heightened responsibilities. A seasoned Supreme Court advocate, former Advocate General of UP, former Cabinet Minister, and multiple-term Rajya Sabha MP, Mishra has now been officially tasked with overseeing Election Commission-related affairs, alongside his core duties in legal and media management. His extensive political and legal acumen will play a pivotal role in the party’s election strategy.
Reviving the Successful 2007 Equation: Reiterating the party’s core philosophy of inclusive representation, Mayawati emphasized that the BSP is systematically bringing all sections of society—most notably the Brahmin community—back into its fold, mirroring the successful social coalition of the historic 2007 absolute-majority government. This aggressive grassroots mobilization has forced rival parties to rethink their political calculations.
