Experts, Investors to Discuss Market Linkages and Rural Empowerment

: A major step towards strengthening the poultry sector in Uttar Pradesh, the ‘UP Poultry Conclave 2026’ will be held on April 15–16 at Indira Gandhi Pratishthan in Gomti Nagar. The two-day event aims to bring together policymakers, industry leaders, and innovators to accelerate growth in the sector.
The conclave will be inaugurated by Union Minister Prof. S. P. Singh Baghel, with participation from state ministers Dharampal Singh and Dinesh Pratap Singh. Officials from the animal husbandry department shared details during a press briefing.
Day one will feature technical sessions focusing on market linkages, backyard poultry, policy support, investment opportunities, and rural empowerment. Experts will also highlight modern technologies, government schemes, and financial assistance models. Panel discussions, success stories, and book launches will add depth to the sessions.
On the second day, an Investors’ Summit will explore investment opportunities in the poultry sector. Discussions will include sustainable farming practices, poultry waste management, and the rising demand for antibiotic-free products.
The conclave is expected to witness participation from poultry farmers, hatchery owners, startups, veterinarians, scientists, and students. It will provide a strong platform for networking, knowledge exchange, and collaboration.
Officials believe the event will play a crucial role in transforming Uttar Pradesh into a poultry hub by promoting innovation, investment, and inclusive growth in rural areas.
