Students Pay Tribute, Emphasise Education and Social Justice Values

: A solemn and inspiring event was आयोजित at Government Takmeel-ut-Tib College and Hospital to mark the 135th birth anniversary of Dr. B.R. Ambedkar. The कार्यक्रम took place at Hakim Abdul Aziz Hall, witnessing enthusiastic participation from students, faculty, and distinguished guests.
The समारोह began with floral tribute and candle lighting before the portrait of Dr. Ambedkar, followed by speeches highlighting his immense contribution to social justice, equality, and education. Chief Guest Dr. Abdul Qudoos Hashmi and Special Guest Dr. Subodh Kumar addressed the gathering and emphasized the continued relevance of Ambedkar’s ideology in modern India.
Dr. Subodh Kumar reiterated Ambedkar’s famous message on education, calling it a powerful tool for empowerment. Meanwhile, Dr. Bachchu Singh spoke about the strength of Indian democracy and unity rooted in the Constitution framed under Ambedkar’s leadership.
Students actively participated by presenting speeches, poems, and creative expressions reflecting Ambedkar’s life and vision. The event was efficiently conducted by Dr. Abdul Malik.
Despite being a public holiday, the event saw significant voluntary participation from students, hostel residents, and hospital staff, reflecting deep respect and admiration for Dr. Ambedkar.
