2027 UP Polls Will Be the Last Election If Democracy Isn’t Saved Now,’ Warns SP Chief Akhilesh Yadav

Akhilesh Yadav Slams BJP’s Commensurate Failure, Rallies SP Workers to Deploy ‘PDA’ Power for 2027 Clean Sweep

 Anytime News Network (Pooja Shrivastava):

In a scathing political attack, Samajwadi Party National President and former Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav stated that the ruling BJP poses a grave threat to Indian democracy. Addressing a massive gathering of party leaders and ground workers at the SP state headquarters in Lucknow on Monday, Yadav sounded a strict alarm, claiming that if the democratic setup is not protected right now, the 2027 Uttar Pradesh Assembly Election could well be the final election of the state.

A Call for Rigorous Booth Management Yadav motivated the party cadre to unite with full force. He emphasized that the upcoming 2027 election is not just a regular political battle but a crucial fight to save democracy. He explicitly instructed workers to shift their entire focus toward scrutinizing the voter lists and strengthening booth management, while maintaining polite and respectful behavior with the public.

BJP is Scared of ‘PDA’ Unity Exposing the ruling party’s agenda, the SP chief asserted that the BJP relies heavily on negative and communal politics. He termed the BJP as an explicit enemy of the ‘PDA’ (Backward Classes, Dalits, and Minorities). “The BJP government has snatched away reservation from the PDA, filed fake cases against them, and orchestrated fake encounters. However, PDA is our core strength and its agenda is rooted in love and inclusivity, which has left the BJP completely rattled,” Yadav said.

Failure on Governance, Youth, and Infrastructure Launching a frontal attack on governance, Yadav remarked that instead of building premier institutions like IITs, the current government is busy setting up SITs to probe scams. He highlighted that inflation, unemployment, and corruption are at an all-time high, with institutional paper leaks destroying the future of the youth. Farmers are struggling with rising costs of fuel and fertilizer shortage, leading to tragic suicides.

The high-octane meeting witnessed the presence of senior leaders including National General Secretary Shivपाल Singh Yadav, Saleem Iqbal Sherwani, Rajendra Chaudhary, MP Dharmendra Yadav, and State President Shyam Lal Pal, among other key dignitaries.
