70 new branches of State Bank of India and 501 Mahila Grahak Seva Kendra were virtually inaugurated byNirmala Sitharaman

 

On the occasion of International Women’s Day and Platinum Jubilee celebrations of State Bank of India, 70 new branches of State Bank of India and 501 Mahila Grahak Seva Kendra were virtually inaugurated by the Hon’ble Finance Minister of India, Smt. Nirmala Sitharaman from State Bank Bhavan Mumbai. Apart from this, assistance was provided in Local Head Offices under Corporate Social Responsibility. On this occasion, Chairman of State Bank of India, Shri C.S. Shetty, all Managing Directors and other senior officials were present in State Bank Bhavan.

Out of the above 70 branches, five new branches were inaugurated in Lucknow Circle, Gomtinagar Extension-1 Lucknow, NRI City Kanpur, Bhagalpur Deoria, Phulwaria Varanasi and Bhadaura Ghazipur branch. In addition, under Corporate Social Responsibility, assistance of Rs. 2.52 crore was provided to Sanjiva Singh Archery Institute Trust, Deoria for setting up an Archery Academy to encourage underprivileged youth and Olympic level talented individuals and an ambulance was also donated to Ramakrishna Mission Home of Service, Varanasi to provide medical facilities to the poor and needy people. On this occasion, Shri Deepak Kumar De,CGM,Lucknow Circle, Shri Anil Kumar, GM NW-I, Shri M L V S Prakash, GM NW-II, Kaushalendra Kumar, GM NW-III and other senior officers were present.
