PG Scholar Delivers Impressive Presentation

A departmental seminar was successfully conducted on March 14 (Saturday) in the Department of Niswan wa Qabalat, highlighting critical aspects of maternal healthcare. The seminar was presented by Dr. Sumbul Alam, Final Year PG Scholar, on the topic “Management of Molar Pregnancy.”
The academic session was graced by the presence of Dr. Mani Ram Sir, Head of the Department, along with Dr. Mariyam Roqaiya Ma’am and postgraduate students. The seminar turned out to be an enriching learning experience for all attendees.
Dr. Sumbul Alam delivered a comprehensive presentation covering the definition, epidemiology, risk factors, and pathophysiology of molar pregnancy. She elaborated on clinical features, diagnostic techniques, and management strategies, placing strong emphasis on early detection. Key highlights included ultrasonographic findings, the significance of β-hCG levels, and evidence-based treatment protocols. Her clarity and depth of knowledge were widely appreciated by the audience.
The session concluded with an engaging discussion and quiz round, encouraging active participation from the students. Dr. Aziza Zahid, PG Scholar (Batch 2024), emerged as the winner of the quiz competition and was awarded a token of appreciation in the form of a pen for her outstanding performance.
Adding a unique and meaningful dimension to the event, Dr. Mani Ram Sir expressed his interest in understanding the Holy Qur’an and recited Surah Al-Fatiha. This was followed by a brief explanation of its meaning and significance, creating a harmonious blend of academic and spiritual enrichment.
