In a massive political development ahead of the upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly Elections, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) supremo Mayawati has officially sounded the poll bugle, sending shockwaves through rival political camps. By strategically integrating the upper-caste community—specifically the Brahmin Samaj—into the party’s candidate selection, Mayawati has ignited intense anxiety among opposition parties, particularly targeting the Samajwadi Party (SP).
The Proclamation to Repeat the Historic 2007 Absolute Majority
Taking to social media, the BSP chief asserted that the party’s calculated move to field prominent upper-caste candidates has triggered a visible wave of panic among opponents. Drawing strong parallels to the historic 2007 assembly elections, she claimed that the overwhelming support and solid contribution of the Brahmin community would once again propel the BSP to form a government with a sweeping full majority. She emphasized that a rerun of the 2007 mandate is now a natural inevitability.
‘Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay’: The True Sanctuary for Upper Castes
Mayawati emphasized that in a highly populated state like Uttar Pradesh, the welfare and future of the upper castes, especially the Brahmin community, are safe only under the umbrella of the BSP. Launching a scathing attack on her rivals, she noted that the BSP has not merely preached its core ideology of ‘Sarvajan Hitay, Sarvajan Sukhay’ but has actively implemented it. When in power, the party provided immense respect, honor, and proportional administrative participation to the community at every single level. Under the governance of other political parties, these communities have long felt neglected, insecure, and utterly cheated by hollow promises.
‘Proportionate Representation Based on Readiness’
Clarifying the BSP’s inclusive blueprint, the ‘Iron Lady’ announced that other upper-caste communities, including the Kshatriyas and Vaishyas, are also being progressively integrated into the candidate list based on their organizational readiness. “The greater the preparation, the greater the representation,” she underlined. She fiercely took a dig at opponents, stating that the BSP rejects the narrow, self-serving politics of handing out temporary ‘lollipops,’ choosing instead to uphold its constitutional duty toward all communities.
Law & Order and Public Welfare Remain Supreme
Concluding her fierce statement, Mayawati reiterated that the BSP’s governance model remains unmatched when it comes to stringent crime control, flawless law and order, and public welfare. She maintained that the party’s policies have historically been the finest for both the nation and the state, hinting at a powerful comeback based on public interest.
