The Jashn-e-Azadi Trust celebrated Independence Day with unmatched grandeur, transforming Hazratganj into a vibrant canvas of patriotism, communal harmony, and cultural pride. From interfaith solidarity to spectacular cultural performances, the mega-event was a true tribute to the spirit of a free and united India.
Key Highlights of the Grand Celebration:
A Symbol of Unity: In a beautiful display of brotherhood, the national flag was hoisted near the Hazratganj Hanuman Mandir in the esteemed presence of prominent religious leaders, including Murlidhar Ahuja, Maulana Sufiyan, Harpal Jaggi, and Father Gerald John Mathias. Representatives of all faiths prayed together for the nation’s peace and prosperity.
Sweet Patriotism: Spreading the joy of freedom, 80 kg of laddoos were distributed among the enthusiastic public. Adding to the visual spectacle, 80 tricolor balloons were released into the sky, soaring high as a symbol of India’s integrity and strength.
Mesmerizing Cultural Evening: As the sun set, a grand ‘Bharat Parv’ was hosted outside the Hazratganj Multilevel Park. International comedian Arshad Khan left the audience in splits, while singers like Kumar Mukesh and Kirti Dwivedi enchanted the massive crowd with soulful patriotic melodies. Electrifying performances by the Scorpio Dance Group and young talents drew loud cheers.
Poetic Brilliance: A stellar Mushaira and Kavi Sammelan featured renowned literary figures like Sarvesh Asthana, Pankaj Prasun, and Saif Babar, who awakened deep patriotic fervor through their powerful verses, prompting the crowd to chant “Vande Mataram.”
Honoring the Heroes: Chief Guest and MLC Pawan Singh Chauhan felicitated several distinguished personalities for their outstanding contributions to society. Trust President Murlidhar Ahuja and Raziya Nawaz emphasized that Independence Day should be celebrated as the nation’s grandest festival, bridging all divides. The flawless execution of the event, guided by Zubair Ahmed, Abdul Wahid, Wamiq Khan, and the UP Artist Academy, left a lasting imprint of unity.
