AI in Education Takes Center Stage, Dr. Abdul Malik Shines as Key Panelist

Global Conference Honors Lucknow Professor with “Best Teacher 2026” Award

: The 17th International Conference held at the Management Education & Research Institute (MERI) witnessed insightful discussions on the transformative role of artificial intelligence in education and research. The event was organized by the International Organized Research Institute in collaboration with the Center for Smart Modern Construction, Western Sydney University, GIER India, MERI College, and Kyrotics.

The conference was graced by Chief Guest Amit Kumar and Guest of Honor Akanksha Saini. The उद्घाटन address was delivered by Engineer Tanveer Singh, while the keynote speech was presented by I.P. Agrawal. Experts and academicians from across the globe participated, making it a significant academic gathering.

A major highlight of the conference was the panel discussion on “Artificial Intelligence in Education and Research,” where Dr. Abdul Malik played a crucial role as a panelist. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Anatomy at State Takmeel-ut-Tib College & Hospital.

Dr. Malik emphasized the urgent need to move beyond traditional teaching methods and adopt personalized learning systems. He explained that AI enables students to learn according to their individual pace and abilities, making education more effective and inclusive.

However, he also highlighted the limitations of artificial intelligence, noting that it can sometimes produce biased, incomplete, or inaccurate information. He stressed the importance of educating students about ethical AI use, proper citation practices, and identifying misuse.

His balanced perspective on leveraging AI responsibly in education was widely appreciated by attendees and experts.

In recognition of his valuable contribution, Dr. Malik was awarded a certificate of appreciation as a panelist. He was also honored with the prestigious “IRSD Best Teacher 2026” award, acknowledging his dedication to academic excellence and innovation in teaching.

During the technical sessions, research papers were presented by Dr. Mohammad Arafat (JNMCH, Aligarh), Ms. Tayyaba (Jamia Hamdard, New Delhi), and Ms. Priya (Chennai), covering diverse topics in education, healthcare, and technology.

The event concluded with a vote of thanks by Prof. Deep Shikha Kalra, Dean of MERI College, who expressed gratitude to all participants and organizers for making the conference a grand success.
