Ex-Minister Rajendra Choudhary Inaugurates Mega Bhandara At Sadar, Distributes Prasad

The city of Lucknow was gripped by religious fervor today on the auspicious occasion of the fifth ‘Bada Mangal’ of the Jyeshtha month. Marking the holy day, a special prayer and worship ceremony of Lord Hanuman was organized at the Samajwadi Party State Headquarters in Lucknow. SP National Secretary Shri Rajendra Choudhary paid a floral tribute to the deity and distributed prasad among the party staff and devotees present at the headquarters.
Grand Bhandara at Sadar: Summer Delights for Devotees
Following the rituals at the party office, the National Secretary and former Cabinet Minister Rajendra Choudhary headed to Prabhu Dayal Seth Road in the Sadar area under the Cantonment Assembly constituency. A grand public feast (Bhandara) was organized here by the prominent Seth family to mark the holy Tuesday.
The Auspicious Start: Former Minister Rajendra Choudhary performed a ceremonial Vedic puja of Lord Hanuman before personally serving prasad to the long queues of eager devotees.
A Refreshing Menu: Keeping the intense June heat in mind, the bhandara featured traditional items like Puri-Sabzi, Kadhi-Chawal, and Bundi-Halwa, alongside refreshing summer counters distributing chilled Shikanji (lemonade) and ice creams to the public.
Dignitaries and Organizers Gather in Large Numbers
The socio-religious gathering witnessed the presence of several high-profile personalities, including Ashish Yadav ‘Sonu’ (OSD to former Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav) and veteran journalist Madhukar Trivedi.
The event was flawlessly executed under the close supervision of the Seth family members, including Manoj Seth, Ajay Seth, Vishal Seth, Dilip Seth, and Ravi Seth. Other prominent volunteers who contributed to the seamless distribution of food included Ravindra Arora, Manpreet Singh, Kamal Singh, Devendra Singh, Vinayak Mehra, Mukul Tandon, Somesh Tandon, Zahid, Puttu, Sanjay Khan, and Aneesh Garg.
