The Suppressed History Of Telangana: BSP Exposes BRS, Congress & BJP

Mayawati’s 39 MPs Rescued Telangana Bill; State Now Held Hostage By Feudal Forces

By Pooja Shrivastava, Any Time News Network, Hyderabad/Lucknow (June 2, 2026):

In a hard-hitting political communique, BSP Telangana State President Ibram Shekhar has unveiled what he terms a “brutal and deliberately suppressed reality” behind the creation of Telangana. Launching a scathing attack on the ruling elites, Shekhar asserted that the current mainstream narratives peddled by the Congress, BJP, and BRS are historically fraudulent, designed to rob the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) of its legitimate historical credit while keeping 90% of the state’s Bahujan population under feudal subjugation.

Revisiting the chaotic parliamentary session of February 2014, Shekhar mathematically dismantled the tall claims of regional parties. He pointed out that during the tabling of the Telangana Statehood Bill, BRS (then TRS) was practically toothless in New Delhi with an abysmal strength of just two (2) MPs in the Lok Sabha. Meanwhile, the ruling Congress (UPA) was paralyzed by internal mutiny and intense rebellion from its own Seemandhra MPs, and the BJP (NDA) was merely playing a calculated game of political opportunism for electoral gains.

The Unconditional Bailout: How BSP’s Elephant Cleared the Bill

Amidst the fierce political storm in Delhi, it was BSP National President Kumari Mayawati who stood as the ultimate savior for the aspirations of the region’s youth and downtrodden children.

  • The Decisive Might: Under the absolute command of Mayawati, it was the BSP’s powerhouse of 39 MPs (21 Lok Sabha + 18 Rajya Sabha) that provided unconditional, unilateral support to clear the deadlock and pass the Telangana Bill.

  • The Betrayal of 90% Population: After statehood was achieved, BRS claimed they “won” it, Congress claimed they “gifted” it, and BJP claimed they “backed” it. Yet, all three systematically failed to safeguard the self-respect of the majority Bahujans.

Feudal Grip on Resources: “Even today, the power, public resources, and wealth of Telangana remain heavily monopolized and held hostage by a handful of influential feudal families,” Shekhar stated bitterly.

The BSP state chief concluded with a fierce rally cry, asserting that the ‘Elephant’ symbol which steered Telangana through the Delhi storm is the only true custodian of the state’s welfare. He claimed that a BSP-led government is the only alternative left to liberate the 90% Bahujan masses from ongoing institutional neglect and restore their authentic socioeconomic pride.
