Focus on Road Safety as Driving Training Facilities Come Under Inspection

UP Transport Commissioner Reviews Work at Badaun Transport Office

Badaun: Uttar Pradesh Transport Commissioner Ashutosh Niranjan (IAS) conducted a detailed inspection of the Sub Divisional Transport Office in Badaun and reviewed the functioning of various administrative sections. During the visit, he examined pending files, work efficiency, and office management practices while directing officials to ensure timely disposal of all pending matters.

The Transport Commissioner reviewed the functioning of different desks and sought detailed information regarding pendency and public service delivery. Stressing the importance of transparency and efficiency, he instructed officials to complete all government-related work within the prescribed timelines and maintain regular recovery and notice procedures for pending vehicle dues.

He also inspected the office premises, record room, and conference hall. As renovation work is currently underway in the office building, officials and the executing agency were instructed to ensure proper maintenance of records after completion of the renovation work. Cleanliness and systematic upkeep of the premises were also emphasised during the inspection.

Later, the Commissioner visited an accredited driving training school in the district. He reviewed the sensor-based driving test track, simulator-based training system, classrooms, and display room facilities. He directed the school management to provide the best possible facilities to trainees and maintain high-quality training standards.

Highlighting the importance of professional driver training, Ashutosh Niranjan said that effective training plays a key role in reducing road accidents and improving road safety awareness among citizens.

Several senior transport department officials, including Deputy Transport Commissioner Kamal Gupta, Regional Transport Officer (Enforcement) Pranav Jha, Regional Transport Officer (Administration) Pankaj Singh, Assistant Regional Transport Officer Hariom, and Tax Officer Abhinav Chaudhary, were present during the inspection.
