From Armed Forces to UPSC: Students Get Clear Career Direction, Top Questions Earn Recognition

A special career guidance programme was organized in Lucknow under the inspiration of Governor Anandiben Patel for students of Adarsh Madhyamik Vidyalaya at Jan Bhawan. The initiative aimed to guide young minds about the Agniveer scheme, armed forces recruitment, and broader career opportunities.
Senior officials including Dr. Sudhir Mahadev Bobde, Colonel Ajay Patial, and Puneet Dwivedi interacted directly with students, addressing their queries on defence careers, NCC, civil services like UPSC and IPS, and pathways to higher ranks in the armed forces.
Dr. Bobde emphasized the importance of goal-setting, consistent effort, and positive thinking, encouraging students to align their careers with their interests and strengths. Colonel Patial highlighted discipline, responsibility, and the realities of army life, motivating students towards national service.
The programme saw enthusiastic participation, with students asking insightful questions. Those who posed outstanding queries were recognized and awarded, boosting morale and engagement.
